Event Pianist
Live music adds a unique personal touch, elegance, and flair to social events. From weddings to other special occasions, we can play classical, jazz and contemporary piano music as background to your event.
Jessica Versland is a professional pianist and has performed at many weddings, community organizations, fundraisers, galas, art galleries, banquets and parties of all sizes and types.
Instrument
There is nothing like the sound of a traditional piano! The ideal event venue has a piano that is in good repair and has been recently tuned. If not, I can provide an electronic keyboard with all the required equipment.
Music Selection
Some clients prefer to pick their own music for me to play. Some appreciate suggestions or leave the selection completely to me. I have hundreds of digitally stored sheet music pieces that I can play and I can get additional music for
other pieces that you select.
Weddings
My basic indoor wedding package includes:
Arrival at the event venue one hour before I begin to play to set up and work out any last-minute problems
One hour of prelude music
Wedding party processional music
Recessional music
Additional options include:
Piano solo or other soloist’s accompaniment piece(s) during the service
One hour of reception cocktail hour music
Attendance at the wedding rehearsal
Outdoor events which require extra planning or equipment
Parties
For your special event, why not have live music instead of the same old recorded music you hear every day everywhere else? Each party is unique, and I will provide the music that will best set the tone for your occasion.
Senior Living
From assisted living, independent living, nursing homes, facilities, or retirement homes – I am able to perform a selection of music for any kind of luncheon and showcase activity. During the pandemic, all performances were held outdoors with provided equipment.
