About Instructor

Jessica Versland

Jessica is a professional pianist and piano teacher currently serving Pennsylvania and Connecticut. She began learning the piano at age 6 and trained for many years under MTNA award recipient Marvin Blickenstaff. Jessica participated in the New Jersey Music Teacher’s Association (NJMTA) located in the heart of Princeton, where she performed for a total of nine years. This non-profit organization is an affiliate of the Music Teachers National Association (MTNA).

Jessica holds a Bachelor of Arts with a Music degree in Piano from Palm Beach Atlantic University where she studied piano for 4 years. Upon graduating, Jessica received the Sylvia L. Brainen Palm Beach Piano Quartet Scholarship Award in the 2014-15 Competition for the PBAU School of Music and Fine Arts.

Ms. Jessica began Versland Studios shortly after graduating. Her studio has grown quickly and now includes dozens of weekly students ranging in age from 6 to 65 years old. Versland Studios stands out with its yearly recitals which offer students an essential opportunity to showcase their progress while growing accustomed to performing in front of large crowds in a low-pressure environment.

Outside of her piano teaching, Jessica enjoys painting and has developed a reputation for her photography. She also volunteers her time by performing at fundraising galas for charitable organizations, such as United Way and the Children’s Hospital. Jessica also has a fantastic husband who helped write this bio.

Lydia Bujok

Lydia is a professional pianist and piano teacher currently serving Montgomery County and the surrounding area. She began learning the piano at age 6 and trained for many years under MTNA award recipient Marvin Blickenstaff. Lydia also participated in the New Jersey Music Teacher’s Association (NJMTA) located in the heart of Princeton, where she performed for a total of nine years. 

Upon graduating, she studied Piano Pedagogy with Margarita Genova. She also studied Music Theory and Improvisation. She also completed the ABRSM Exam board of the Royal Schools of Music.

Ms. Lydia has been teaching dozens of students weekly for about 7 years.

Outside of her piano teaching, Lydia enjoys composing her own music, performing improvisations on her Instagram LetsGoPiano and cuddling her kittens. She also volunteers her time by performing at fundraising galas for charitable organizations, such as United Way. She is also proud to be the younger sister of Jessica.
